How glad am I that this past week has, well, passed. Eternally grateful though, as it was a time of abundance, but I am just as grateful it is over. As you might have gleaned from my previous post, I have been extremely busy preparing for various things, most of which have now passed. As each item rolled on by, I gratefully ticked it off my list of things that were happening, taking it a step at a time and hoping to get through this unbroken.
And I did (like we so often do!).
So, to catch up:
I did 2 markets within a week of each other, one on the 30th and one on the 6th of August, each doing infinitely better than the last, and overall, the good vibes just kept on rolling in. Preparation was hectic and different for each event, but both were a lot of fun.
On the 6th we did the Green Market. You will just have to forgive me, I was going to take pictures, but that completely slipped my mind as I got extremely busy. This was also my birthday, so everyone kept on phoning and I ended up with loads of b-day messages, as you can't answer the phone when speaking to a prospective client.
GT is not up to running as a full-fledged business yet, but it is doing 3 times what it did a month ago. So, lots of good energy (and money) coming my way, most which have to (of course) be put back into the business in order to keep things going). Of course the confusion caused by Mercury in retrograde, has made things rather interesting, but it has not yet hampered business in any way. Yay!
One of the things that needed to be up and running by the time of the Green Market, was GT's website, which you can find at www.gentle-trader.co.za. It is not 100% up yet, but the newsletter sign up is set and ready, along with the skeleton of what the site will be.
As the days continue from now, I will be adding the products that GT sells, although suddenly, I am being approached by various people wanting me to sell their products too. You know, it never rains but it pours... And it is the pouring for which I am most grateful right now.
PS- if you do drop in on the site, please let me know what you think and if you pick up any issues.
Along with the website, I also took care of a few advertising possibilities and I still have one that I need to cross off my list. So even that is taken care of and I can sit back for a week or two and just attend to finer details, like the product info on GT etc.
Next up was my birthday dinner, which went deliciously :). It is always awesome to be able to take some time out and just spend it with friends. BUT I will tell you that my behind refused to get off a chair the next day. I sank into our couch and got up for nothing and no one. My feet thanked me each time I sat back down after going to the bathroom. I think we often forget what we put ourselves through in order to attain our goals - sigh - but it all has a purpose in the end, just so long as we allow ourselves those moments to recuperate as well.
There is loads more business coming, but at least I can focus on GT's website for a few weeks, along with the next edition of said newsletter, as all that business is only coming at the end of August.
To my followers and those I am following: Thank you for being so patient. I didn't post last week and it has been 2 weeks since I have actively responded to any blog post or comments left on mine. No that things have calmed down again, I promise I will get to all my fans within the next 2 weeks.
I hope that some of my good fortune vibes rubs off on anyone wanting it, because things have been going really well and I have more than enough blessing-vibes to share!
xx
