So after my tangent in the last post, I planned to do just that. And I did. I had previously booked a Yoga Workshop for the Saturday (10th) and it was probably the best thing I ever did: Meditation; Stress Release; an almost 2 hour Yoga class; Organic Food; World Cafe; and a drumming session. Sometimes your soul knows what you are going to need, long before you actually need it... (err, sometimes?)
Inhale, and God approaches you. Hold the inhalation, and God remains with you. Exhale, and you approach God. Hold the inhalation, and surrender to God. ~ Krishnamacharya
How much peace can you attain in a day? Muchos. By the end of the day I was, once again, reminded of the fact that we never get just one chance, and that things are always as they are meant to be. We had what they call a World Cafe, which is basically just a lot of people sitting at tables of about 4 or 5 and then changing every 20 minutes or so, discussing questions raised by the facilitator. When you open yourself up to it, strangers have a lot to say about the things happening in your life, without you ever actually telling them what is going on in your life. I wisened up a bit, and of course the breathing and the meditation before hand did a lot to improve my openness to The Universe's notes on my life :)
In the end, I left with one profound peace of Truth to take into 2012: Trust the Process; Trust yourself.

| Here are some other things I picked up which really helped me |
All in all, the weekend provided the perfect space for me to be in, to cancel out most of the noise in my life, and to just allow things to breathe. Once Sunday night rolled past, things were, for lack of a better word, zen again.
Oh! And for the workshop, we each received a little gift back in which we each got an Amethyst with this little note tied onto it:

| please note the 2nd last line: Allows one to let go and trust... |
All in all, that whole weekend worked out just to remind me that things move as they should and that if things make me uncomfortable, I needn't do them. Patience is key; I just have to trust.
